Al's food stall, across from Big C and soi chaiyapoon
Bob's BBQ,soi lk metro

I found a place on Google called the 'Pattaya Cantina' near Soi Yensabai, anyone been there?

My favorite place is the Blue Parrot and then Mike's. The worst food is Al's.

i would never set foot in tequilla reef again , simply because i dont like what they call mexican food .

mikes mexican is no better .

ive not been in sams place but i have eaten his stuff while in shooters , not my style of mexican food but edible .

bobs bbq offers little if anything of mexican origin .

the great american rib company in jomtiem offer a small selection of mexican food and its not bad .

actually surprisingly enough big als mexican food from his stall is better than any of the fully fitted out restuarants that ive tried in pattaya that offer mexican food .

ive never been to the blue parrot as of yet , but i have been told the food is good in there .

first place i go to for a meal when i go home to scotland is pancho vills mexican restuarant in glasgow .

delicious .

we can't find 'real' Mexican food here. More like Tex-Mex. Guess it is sort of like UK Curry, not the 'real' thing they eat in India but it can be OK.

I have heard about Al's being good from several people but I did not like it much and I have been twice in the last 6 months on soi chaiyapoon next to Oasis. Will give it a try again

Went to Blue Parrot a couple of nights ago. Good as ever, great service and the Salsa is the best I have had in Thailand. Only problem is the location is not pretty much part of Boystown these days.

I agree Blue Parrot is good. I'm not a fan of Tequilla Reefs at all.

didn't you hear ?, Curry was invented in the UK

Tequila Reef is just OK IMHO, not something I would drive an hour to sample
the Parrot is pretty good, but it's been a long time since I was there, need to try it again soon

Tequila Reefs food could be described as poor at best.. But I don't go there to eat.. I go there to drink their 'Hand Shaken Margaritas''... They are deffo the best available in Pattaya and very close to the real thing.. aroi !

Forget about the food just order up a jug of Margaritas.. (They do frozen style too.. but I'm too impatient to dink them)

The Parrots food is much better even though it is mostly pre-prepared and is much closer to the 'Mexican' food available in SoCal...

Still for the life of me can't understand why really good Mexican food isn't available here.. 90% of the ingredients are available cheaply and there are plenty of Septics here too..

Funnier still I went out for Mexican in Angeles PI expecting because of the greater number of Americans there it would be better than Pattaya.. Wrong ! Just as bad as here sad.gif
