First and foremost I want to have the Missus's teeth cleaned and also have x rays to find out if all is OK with her choppers. She has what appears to be teeth in great condition but I don't have x ray vision. I do know her breath is excellent ( just like warm air so I suspect no decay) at all times unless she eats something like papaya pow pow or aPOW. (sp?)

I'd like to be able to chat a minute with the dentist first before we proceed.

I used the search function on this forum but search functions never seem to be kind to me.

The post below is from a topic I started in June, worth a try especially if you are around the darkside but more importantly because they are not expensive despite offering great service. My babe swears by them as she was subjected to a lot of pain at Pattaya International. I have used Bangkok Pattaya before and they are also very good with a great clinic, just expect to pay big bucks.

An actual testimonial besides Porn's, good to hear. They have a nice set up, explain all their charges and as it's local it ticks all the boxes.

Anymore than that and it might seem like an idea to take a short holiday and use the dentists here.

Well fortunately I've got dental cover with work and can claim most of it back, but I was just illustrating your point really about the cost difference.

Good point.

I remember walking into a dentist in the UK a few years back and I was there for a check up only, the dentist just says yes you have typical yellowing teeth, I can whiten them for you today for the special price of 500 pounds. Could have smacked her. Told her I could get a holiday for that and have my teeth cleaned and still have change!

Right you are too Dave!..bout 4 years ago i had my Hampsteads super gleemed up at BK dental clinic Soi Buakhao near Oasis...they were doing a promotion about £70 for full Hollywood whitening..When i went in there was an English bloke having an inplant done and he swears by the place..Fraction of the price in the UK...Saying that proceed with caution with Thai dentists..Have heard a few nightmare stories as well.........
