Thailand Travel Advice

The Foreign Office travel advice for Thailand has been reviewed and reissued with amendments to the Travel Summary (floods). The overall level of the advice has changed. We no longer advise against all but essential travel to the 22 provinces in Thailand (including Bangkok) identified by the Thai authorities as affected by flooding.

We continue to advise against all travel to the Preah Vihear and Ta Krabey/Ta Moan temple areas and against all but essential travel to the provinces of Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat and Songkhla (see the full Travel Advice - safety and security, local travel).
Heavy rainfall across Thailand in September and October has caused widespread flooding resulting in disruption and over 530 deaths. We advise caution if travelling to any of the 22 provinces in Thailand (including Bangkok), which are affected by flooding, as identified by the Thai authorities. The affected provinces are: North; (Nakhon Sawan and Uthai Thani) Central; (Chai Nat, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Lopburi, Saraburi, Suphan Buri, Nakhon Pathom, Pathumthani, Nonthaburi, Samutsakhon, Samut Prakarn and Bangkok) Northeast; (Ubon Ratchathani, Srisaket, Roi-et and Kalasin) Eastern; (Chacheongsao, Nakhon Nayok and Prachinburi).
There is still a large volume of flood water from the north passing through Bangkok, and to the east and west of the city, to reach the Gulf of Thailand. This flood water is being contained by a series of barriers, dykes and canals and has flooded outlying districts to the north (including Chatuchak ), east and west of central Bangkok. Some of the flood defences have been breached and the authorities have put in place measures to deal with these breaches. We now assess that the risk of floods affecting central Bangkok is reducing, though a small risk remains that some of the floodwater affecting the suburbs to the north, east and west of Bangkok could spread slowly towards the centre of the city. This risk will diminish as more floodwater drains into the sea. We continue to monitor the situation and update this Travel Advice on a regular basis.

We highly recommend that you head directly to the city of pattaya in the Chonburi province were there has been no flooding , ample hotel rooms , thousands of bar and restuarants , absolutely loads of cheap prostitutes and were even an ugly old guy with only 30 pounds could have a full night out and end up fucking a sweet little brown fucking machine if he drank in The Eagle Bar in Soi 7 .

The only area of pattaya we advise against British Citizens venturing in to is New Plaza . The reasons will become instantly apparent as you approach it .
