Stayed Mercure Park Avenue (Accor group same as IBIS) on Sukhumvit soi 22 last weekend. I get a discount rate (airline) so it was only just over a 1000 baht but they are offering a cash back deal of 250 baht a night. Sign for mini bar, breakfast, restaurant etc and they will then take 250 baht off your bill at check-out. Not a bad deal considering they do a full salad bar and eat as much pasta for 139 baht between 1200-1500, that includes free juices as well. They had 10 sauces with the pasta including cream and truffle, lobster bisque, carbonara and pesto. They have also taken 40% off their buffet breakfast rate, now only 260 baht all in and it was superb.
Agree IBIS is small but I have found them comfortable, at least you know what you are getting and their meal deals are always exceptional value. |

Stayed at the Ibis second road opposite the big c on my recent trip for a few nights..got a good deal, 550 bht a night through the company , i think the walk in room rack price is 1400 and not worth that this time of the year..as mentioned the rooms are small but modern and bright ,with flat screen tv , fridge and tea making facility's and niced size swimming pool....On the downside , the place is frequented by too many non Thai Asians for my liking, the internet is overpriced and the rooms are girl guest unfriendly unless you keep to the same one pre-booked...

QUOTE www.acorhotels.com/hotel-cms/gb/offers/offer-223.shtml Must admit I did not see any 99 baht deals but the link above is spelt wrong. If you put this into your browser it defaults to ACCOR hotels but shows New Zealand and Fiji. If that is what you were looking at then ok but beware of scams etc |
