Around 21000 Bht, and you can normally get and upgraded flash card as part of the deal

i am in the US now, was about to order a Nexus One to use in Thailand but google is going to stop selling them out so I am a little skeptical

Desire is only available in the US in the grey market at $579 which is about 18500 Baht

did you buy one in Thailand? I am skeptical of Tuk com, not really sure why are they available in the chain shops in Central Festival, etc owned/sponsored by the carriers?

The reason you may find it difficult to get in the US is because it was championed by both the HTC Incredible and the HTC EVO

The Desire is readily available in Thailand now, I've seen them in Tukcom and Central, and the real deal, not grey imports, they have Thailand maps and Language support straight from the box. If your sceptical then have a trip to BKK one day, you'll be sure to get it there cheaper also.

I'm warming to the Desire, I see its also bigger than the HTC HD2 according to a quick look at some specs, the HD is 109 mm and the Desire is 112 mm, a real clincher for me. I know its only 3mm but its got to be the biggest smart phone on the market now

i was also reading about that, seems pretty big to be carrying around

It certainly isn't a 'compact' phone but its size IS one of its features, some want the big screen and a big phone is the result.

HTC Thailand's website...

Desire Linky

If its a little large but you still want Android and everything that HTC is offering then the Legend is a bit smaller...

Legend Linky

As regards to 3G, You'll have to move over to True as they seem to be pioneering 3G across Thailand, Dtac are also laying out their foundations now too.

I wonder could we get a deal if say 5 of us want one. Maybe 18K each, 90K for a one off customer.........................

Think about it

one thing i can't figure out is why the Desire is not listed with a price on the htc thailand website. The other models have prices.

http://www.pattaya-live.com/index.php?showtopic=30507

I want the 1.9 or at least a 1.7 Ghz 3G availability for back in North America, which HTC doesn't have if you buy them in LOS
