  1. I bought some pies from a shop on chayapruk but there was no sign above the shop so I don't know if this is London pie. The steak pie I had contained carrot and I didn't like them. I like the aus lady pies from villa market, but a little expensive at 120. I don't think I would pay 150 for a pie,I like value for money. I tried a pie the other day it cost 80 baht,I got it from a friend who bought it from a shop off threpasit. The filling was good and the pastry thin. This is what it looked like.
  2. It's high season so it should be packed. It won't last long IMO at those prices.
  3. Looks very nice and a bargain.
  4. It will cost you a arm an a leg. So it won't last long.
  5. I clicked on there and it was 7.99 baht a month for everything. It seams a bit expensive compared to I like HD TV. BTW did you know on I like HD it's only 2.50 baht for the sports ch. if you want the UK ch it's another 200 baht.
  6. If you got 55.01 you did very well. I think T T exchange only did that on Thursday this week. I'm with hsbc and when I do a transfer I get charged only £5. I get my money next day and the rate is about .20 less than I get at T T the same day.
  7. Bet you can't get anywhere near that price if it's from Bangkok return.
  8. Last time I was in a village outside of burriram I bought a dtac SIM card and paid 400 baht for 3G for a month Internet and it worked well. It was even better when I tried it in pattaya. The reason I bought dtac was I heard it worked out there better than ais or true.
  9. Thanks Phil but I do miss the odd news. I might put 1 back
  10. After about 3 years the LG 40 in tv broke. Took it to the LG shop it cost 5000 baht to repair and it took I month. Couldn't go without a tv so bought a Samsung 48 in at a cost of 18.500 baht.
  11. Sky might have the sports, but they don't have all the latest movies like the minix box has. You don't even have to download them. It's all there at a click of a button and all free.
  12. If you go with TOT I will be interested if it is any good(no buffering etc). And if you are getting the mbs you pay for.
  13. I'm with 3bb and pay 630 baht inc vat. I've not had too many problems watching movies on the minix. But do get a bit of buffering now and then when I watch sky sports. If I pay same as you will the buffering stop?
  14. I agree. Bought the last tv from there delivered exactly on time and tuned it in for free, unlike the UK. It was the same price in power buy and the wife talked them into 500 baht discount.
  15. I'm stuck on a pension of £480 every 28 days for the last 3 years for being too honest. I have paid in for more than 40 years.
