  1. Yup, I think they are just not so much for the technically challenged or those with no patience to learn how to use them.....
  2. Very true. The opposite is also true.
  3. Got one now, start in 2 weeks, best salary I have ever had, thanks for your concern though.
  4. Doesn't bother me one bit. Come and get me Karma.
  5. I'd agree with all of the above. Sure it can be a bit frustrating at times, due to streaming problems, just takes a small amount of patience to find what you are looking for. It's definitely not like using a Sky box in the UK (all UK channels ) but we don't have that 'luxury' here. The fact that I can now watch pretty much any movie or series I want, get all the UK Tv and sport for a very small price, makes it the best thing I have bought for a long time.
  6. Chantaburi has loads of great cycling routes. The coastal road with dedicated bike lanes is stunning. http://bicyclethailand.com/bicycle-riding-on-the-chantaburi-coast/
  7. Well the quote function is now working but I am also getting notification email if someone likes or quotes a post. Edit - I can now edit posts (couldn't before). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. They are useful for proof of address when banks etc require it. Get it translated and notarised, I need this as I don't have any utility bills etc in my name. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I've got a few other things to do but plan to do it early next week. Be interesting to see how we get on as I will be doing mine in Rayong and I guess you will be doing yours in Banglamung. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. A couple of my friends have got a yellow 'house' book for proof of residence and also an ID card issued by the Amphur. Has any one here done this and got any tips for obtaining them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. That's one of the reason I stick with Apple products. Great for folk that just want to switch them on and use them without any faffing about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. If using Lazada, check whether the item is "In Stock in Thailand" or is being shipped from another country, most likely China. if coming from "In Stock in Thailand" delivery is brilliant, usually the next day. If coming from China it's a lottery
  13. Do you use Kodi, it has all of the above on it and auto updates on mine (an X8 I think). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Just look on google play for the latest version of the app you want and install it (for showtime, movie box etc) test it is working then delete the old app Kodi seems to update itself on mine, I get messages at the bottom right of the screen when I open Kodi showing which apps or repositories are updating. 15. Personally I can't see it, I think demand will continue to drop as more electric cars and alternative energy sources become more efficient, but I am far from any kind of expert on this.
