  1. Golf club on LK metro is excellent for eggs benedict, also good is the coffee club in Royal Garden Plaza (ground floor, on the second road side).
  2. Nice pics, you missed the place where I guess the most money is spent - Sothebys, always good to visit the pre-auction exhibits, plus they have the best khazis in the area
  3. Thanks for posting this, I've walked past a couple of times but been put off by the absence of any other customers - might give it a try now.
  4. +1, Used to eat there a lot when I was staying in Jomtien, liked the Thai food a lot. Ps arf = 'alf = half, "not half" = completely, as in the title of British sitcom about the Burma campaign "It ain't half hot Mum", meaning it's very hot.
  5. Thought I saw the Tony Chachere's on the table at Tequila Reef last week - could be wrong as I'd never seen it before. You could always nick a tub from there :whistling:

  7. You were lucky with your journeys, I'm staying nearby and this week the trip down beach road has taken a lot more than a few minutes beacuse of the preparations for the music festival. What's your secret?
  8. They also have the reduced price on Sundays, with dancing. Have to agree with the OP, had a very similar experience.
  9. Coincidently just came up in the lift in 2A and noticed a new advert for wireless connection - wasn't paying much attention but it did seem cheap - something like 450 for 30 days and 650 for 60. Don't quote me though
  10. You guys really ought to try a better class of dining establishment where they don't have all these problems. I heard there's a new place on Soi Diana you might want to try :verymad:
  11. What did you expect? You didn't mention fish once :teehee:
  12. Dunno TBH, only been there once, left just after midnight. It's a Churrascaria BBQ downstairs and bar upstairs, on the expensive food but nice concept.
  13. Outstanding, I'm especially impressed by your ability to rember what comes next in the alphaqbet - I think I would have lost it somewhere after "Q". You could have gone to Zica's, the new Brazilian place outside the central mall. There's also the Zeppelin bar on beach rd, but I think that's closed whilst being renovated.
  14. There are some lowlife ambulance chasing solictors in the UK who are chasing small scale P2P users, including bittorrent users, based on IP adress. Apparently it's quite easy for them to get your details from the ISP given an IP address. All very dodgy, especially as ISP records pf IP adresses are notoriously innacurate and in any case you may be the innocent victiom of some scofflaw abusing your wireless connection :teehee: More info: http://www.theregister.co.UK/2009/03/13/da..._lyons_apology/ As for using someone else's wireless connection w/o permission, in the UK likely to be a criminal offence - you connect via their router, that router is a computer, your access to it is a breach of the computer misuse act (probably, what do I know, I'm not a scumbag lawyer. Did I mention that I hate lawyers?). Can't see the police taking much interest though.
  15. Give or take the moustache :teehee:
