Bangkok Pattaya Hospital

24 posts in this topic

Needed to go to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital today to set up a dentist appointment for my darling. As you walk through the door into reception there is a desk on the left hand side which is a customer service point, the lady inquired if I would like to look at their new promotions. Now normally I thought they only do promotions around the King's birthday in December but they now have decided to extend that type of promotion starting April 1 until 31 May. Packages can be taken anytime until 30 June but must be purchased before end of May. Can call 038259999 to make an appointment in advance.

Please see the photos for some good deals. Apologies if not totally clear but well worth popping down to BPH for the leaflet or to discuss further your needs.

The best ones of course are the 'Healthy Family1/2/3 which are 'Buy one get one free', that is in fact a better deal than in December although the check-up is not so extensive. I bought more than just a dental check-up for my lady!

The deals above can only be purchased if you select a Healthy Family package and must be carried out on the same day as your check up.

Tongue, they are very good there the checks excellent value Lee (RIP) always stuck the adverts up.

Yes, last week they were doing some promos for an ultrasound which I wanted but I forgot the promo finished on 31 March so I went today to get a new quote but really to get my babes teeth sorted. I was shocked when they mentioned a new promo which worked out cheaper than the previous one last week. I spent 11000 baht on the 3900 baht 2 for 1 package, 2600 baht on full abdomen ultrasound, 3500 baht on a PAP smear (not for me) and 990 baht on teeth check, X-rays and scaling for my darling. Aimed to spent about a thousand when I walked in.

It in fact was Lee that originally put me onto the Christmas promos, I have been going every year in December to take advantage. Now I have a further choice at taking benefit of their good service.

Well your health is number 1, I took out a dicount card it lasts two years but you get 2 x check up the card at 13000, but the initial health check was 15k and I get one next year, also a free dental check.

Whats money for mate of not taking care of your babe

They may be a little bit more expensive than some other hospitals but I have nothing but praise for the doctors and dentists there.

As you say, you can't go cheap on your health.

Pattaya International hospital has usually promos like this as well. They are not as well equipped as the Bangkok-P. but might be cheaper for the general stuff.

Health no1 sure .....me personaly though i wouldn't take one of these tests , to be honest i don't want to know !!

If i fall ill then my insurance will kick in and i will get the care i need . Methinks this kinnda thing is for the over 50's who are shit scared about how they are punishing their bodys in fun land .

I am still fairly young considering , but may think about spending money on tests in thai when i am older ........at the moment with my regular visits to the UK if i am feeling shit i will visit my quack .

Apart from my brain i am all clear :grins-jump:

If you are young then I can appreciate it may not seem so important as for people of a more mature age.

Your comment also about it being for people 'over 50 who are shit scared about how they are punishing their bodies in fun land' may be true for some.

I would however point out that in my case I am over 50 and do not go out drinking usually more than once a week at best, I am stress free and lead a good quality of life. My life revolves around my house and my babe and I work out 4 times a week. I take the annual check-up as a preemptive strike on anything that might be rearing it's ugly head, I am one of those who wants to hit things head on. Some things may just come our way because of our genes and I want to give myself the best chance to combat any problems. I recently felt that I had a stomach problem and so have booked a examination next week to see what's going on, I would not leave it until things might turn for the worse.

I think there are many guys in their 20's/30's/40's living here who punish their bodies much more than some over 50. A lot of guys could lead themselves inadvertently to liver disease, heart problems or other normally unlikely medical conditions just through the lifestyle they follow. Pattaya isn't exactly the place to come for a sedentary life and for me it is just about giving my body the best chance of surviving for as long as possible.

I know others who just believe in fate etc but I like to put off my fate (should it be a medical one) for as long as I can. A regular medical can facilitate that ideal.

I dont think its older guys who are worried, an older guy has already won as he has reached an older age

Having time now it made sense to get it done, I wanted to see how good nick I was in rather than how ill I was, the guy was saying are you out of breath on the runner, no chance mate the machine dies first...

In reality all people should have them, cholestral etc things people can alter in their life quite easily and lead a better quailty of life as they age.

Its health managment rather than repairing f**ked up stuff, no amount of money can giv you health.

But I do agree we wall view the checks in different ways,

Been to Pattaya International hospital today, they do indeed offer similar promos. Did not pick up a leaflet or take photos of the deals but hope to on Monday when back there for my babes second trip to the dentist chair which I have to say is a good deal cheaper than the BPH but appears to be just as good.

Took the top package last week in BPH well worth it.

Found that a couple of cysts in my liver have shrunk to half their size since cutting down on my drinking last year. Stupid thing is they found the cysts during a ultrasound exam last year but didn't even tell me about them then but just told me they had shrunk this year. rolleyes.gif

What about STD's? Do they offer any special comprehensive examination for variety of STD's?

Not sure, I seem to have mislaid the leaflet, more likely the babe has thrown it out. That said I can't remember seeing any particular promotions for checking for STD s, certainly though you can get checked out for any infection whether you have one or just want to be checked out with your babe for peace of mind. It's probably one of those things that they don't advertise too heavily but is always available should the need arise.

They tried to overcharge me the two times I went there so I never went back.

I can live without the thick shag pile carpets and fake smiles, gimme Pattaya memorial any day.

I understand that health is a priority but so is responsibly looking after your finances . Dont get hooked into this perception that so many businesses want you to believe and that is that high prices evaluates to high quality. It doesn't always, if they cant work out my simple bill what chance do I have of having a hippopotomonstrosesquedalian removed.

Another PIH promo on the back side of the leaflet above. Will bring RH on Friday. Looks similar to first page of leaflet but they are different packages.

Did note in their magazine (Bangkok Pattaya Hospital) an offer of a check for Hepatitis (presume A/B/C), for Syphilis and HIV for 999 baht (normal price 1399). Could not tell when promo is from/to but presume again that it will run till 31 May when the health program promos finish.

The colonoscopy and gastroscopy package sounds like fun! I'm wondering if they'll perform it simultaneously. Must give you a pretty good impression then what a BG has to endure if she's doing a spitroast with two guys;)

But on a serous note, I'm considering the CT-Heart for 9999.- It's a bargain!
